Princess Victoria Painting Recreation in Illustrator
Recreated entirely in Adobe Illustrator, this piece is a modern digital reinterpretation of a classical portrait of Princess Victoria. My focus was on preserving the elegance and posture of the original work while exploring digital brushwork, lighting, and value contrast. This piece challenged me to blend traditional aesthetics with digital tools - and it deepened my love for historical references in modern design.

My Focus
Creating this was a valuable study in facial proportion, shading, and clothing detail - all using vector-based tools. It also helped sharpen my eye for value shifts and soft color transitions in skin tones and fabric folds.
Why I Loved This Project
As someone who’s always had a deep love for art history and portraiture, this project gave me the chance to fuse those passions with my growing technical skills in graphic design. It was equal parts creative expression and technical challenge - and totally rewarding.
