Dozens of wild apples
This was a repetition study from my 3D Design course at UNCO during my freshman year. The challenge was to take one pound of clay and create as many identical forms as possible - entirely by hand, no molds or tools.

My Focus
I chose to sculpt wild apples. Each one had slight variations in shape and texture, which actually made the final arrangement feel more organic and alive. It pushed me to work patiently and consistently while still letting a bit of personality show in each piece.
Why I Loved This Project
This was my first real introduction to sculpting, and I loved the hands-on, meditative process of shaping each apple. It made me appreciate how small imperfections can make a piece feel more real and grounded.
